Holyoke School District is proud to have over 400 families with students in its schools. We recognize that students are best able to perform and be happy when the teachers and staff work with families to support and nourish them. In addition to numerous forms of communications (teacher notes and calls, newsletters, emails, newspaper articles, etc.); the district offers several evening workshops and meetings throughout the year on numerous topics including technology, literacy, and scholarship applications. Finally, there are several committees that are of interest to many of the parents including Accountability Committee, Parents In Education (PIE), and wellness committee.

Migrant Program
The migrant program provides services to any family with school aged children that moves into the district with the intent of working in agriculture. The building secretaries have a form with only a few questions that will help district personnel determine eligibility.

Homeless Program
The homeless program serves those children that because of their parent's circumstances are living with another family out of necessity, living in a motel, or living in an otherwise uninhabitable dwelling. The district has some resources that may help the family and can help find assistance from other agencies. Contact the superintendent of schools (970-854-3634) if you, or someone you know may fit this brief discription.
